Field Clinical Specialist – Endoscopy
Location: Medellín, Colombia

About the Role
The Field Clinical Specialist (FCS) – Endoscopy provides clinical, technical, and product support to healthcare professionals and internal teams across the assigned territory. This role partners closely with Sales Representatives and hospital stakeholders to drive procedural excellence, customer satisfaction, and business growth within the Endoscopy portfolio.
The FCS plays a key role in clinical education, case coverage, product implementation, and identification of new business opportunities aligned with Boston Scientific’s strategic objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support & Case Coverage
•    Provide on-site clinical and technical support during endoscopic procedures, ensuring safe and effective product use.
•    Deliver product training and education to physicians, nurses, technicians, and hospital staff.
•    Support new product launches, evaluations, and trials within assigned accounts.
•    Troubleshoot product-related issues and ensure optimal clinical outcomes.

Customer Engagement & Territory Development
•    Visit current and potential customers aligned with the territory strategic plan.
•    Identify and develop business opportunities to support monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
•    Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders and hospital stakeholders.
•    Maintain in-depth knowledge of accounts, portfolio, and competitive landscape.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnership
•    Work closely with the Sales team to execute account plans and growth strategies.
•    Collaborate with Marketing, Technical Services, and other internal stakeholders to support customer needs.
•    Facilitate communication between clinical teams and sales to identify growth opportunities.

Training & Education
•    Conduct product in-services, workshops, and educational sessions.
•    Support regional events, congresses, and clinical meetings when required.
•    Act as a clinical resource for internal team development.

Compliance & Professional Conduct
•    Ensure full compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
•    Maintain high standards of integrity and ethical conduct.
•    Complete required administrative and reporting activities accurately and on time.

 

Required Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Instrumentation, or other Health Sciences-related field.
•    Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the healthcare industry; experience in endoscopy preferred.
•    Strong understanding of hospital operations and clinical workflows.
•    English proficiency ≥70% (B2 level or higher).
•    Availability for occasional travel within the region.
