About the role
To develop competence in strategic and/or operational work while performing in a professional work situation with emphasis placed upon training and development, and to expand professional preparation experiences far beyond the potential inherent in classroom and laboratory activities. Each internship is unique, based on matching the educational and career objectives of the student to the activities of a particular functional area and its specific needs. The internship will focus on a major project for the entire period. Student Interns are expected to learn from the experience as well as contribute to BSC's goals. Internships are typically designed for undergraduate, and graduate students and are expected to learn from the experience as well as contribute to Boston Scientific's goals.
Your responsibilities will include
- Support area on month end close activities related to hand in P&Ls of Region and Divisions
- Update dashboard and monthly results of region, and monthly presentations of division's P&Ls
- Generate sales reports to the required divisions on franchises performance.
- Update dashboards of the assigned business models and customers.
- Report changes on prices based on specific customers.
- Analyze and propose new automated reports related to the financial information captured through Hyperion.
- Develop and create the necessary reports from Tableau in order to keep track of important KPIs related to financial results.
- Support the area on any project initiative related to stablish efficiencies through continuous improvement methodologies.
What we are looking for in you
Required qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance or similar majors
- English Level: Intermediate (B1), upper intermediate (B2) or higher.
- Excel Knowledge: Database management, formula creation and basic analysis.
