Position Summary
The IT LATAM Intern supports process optimization and operational transformation initiatives across the IT LATAM function. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to document processes, consolidate information, and contribute to continuous improvement projects, working closely with the PMO & Finance Lead, Solution Architect, and regional IT leaders.
Key Responsibilities
• Support process optimization initiatives across IT LATAM with a focus on operational agility, standardization, and information traceability.
• Review current-state PMO and Finance processes, identify improvement opportunities, and follow up on enhancement actions.
• Maintain and update trackers, control files, and PMO portfolio information.
• Normalize and consolidate functional and technical documentation for LATAM applications and solutions.
• Collect, consolidate, and organize information from different stakeholders to strengthen documentation and support application approval readiness.
• Perform process mapping and analysis within assigned projects, identifying opportunities for standardization and optimization.
• Analyze data to support more agile and effective decision-making.
• Participate in improvement, automation, or proof-of-concept initiatives that contribute to IT process efficiency.
• Participate in team meetings, follow up on assigned actions, and contribute ideas for improvement.
Required Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to map, analyze, and clearly document processes and solutions.
• Ability to interact with different stakeholders and follow up on tasks in a structured way.
Preferred Qualifications
• Intermediate English level.
• Interest in process improvement, automation, analytics, and operational transformation.
• Basic knowledge of or interest in tools such as Tableau, SAP, PMO tools, financial tools, or architecture/documentation repositories.
• Ability to clean, structure, and consolidate information from multiple sources.
