Professional Profile – Electrophysiology Mapper
The Electrophysiology Mapper will be responsible for providing specialized technical support during electrophysiology procedures, ensuring optimal use of 3D mapping systems and assisting the Electrophysiology team during interventions. This role requires strong technical capabilities, excellent customer relationship skills, and strategic alignment with the business line objectives.
Requirements and Key Competencies
Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in the field of electrophysiology, preferably as a clinical specialist, mapping technician, or similar roles.
- Proven experience providing in-lab support during procedures (ablations, electrophysiology studies, etc.).
- Previous participation in product launches, trainings, and post-sales support (preferred).
Technical Knowledge
- Proficiency in 3D mapping systems (e.g., CARTO, EnSite, Rhythmia, or others).
- Strong knowledge of:
o Cardiac anatomy and physiology.
o Handling of diagnostic and therapeutic catheters.
o Workflow of an electrophysiology procedure. - Ability to interpret electroanatomical maps and support physicians in optimizing the procedure.
Soft Skills
- Excellent customer relationship skills: effective communication, empathy, and a focus on high-quality support.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams (sales, marketing, physicians, nursing).
- Proactivity, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Languages
- Preferably English, for reviewing technical documentation, trainings, and communication with global teams.
Main Responsibilities
- In-lab support during electrophysiology procedures, providing specialized technical assistance.
- Configuration, operation, and optimization of 3D cardiac mapping systems.
- Ongoing training of physicians, nurses, and technicians on new technologies and best practices.
- Support in product launches, clinical demonstrations, and educational activities.
- Gathering customer insights to contribute to the development of the electrophysiology business line strategy.
- Ensuring proper implementation of protocols and the safe use of the product portfolio.
