Purpose
Professional Education Intern role is a key contributor to the execution of Boston Scientific’s Corporate Strategies. This position provides direct support to Professional Education Manager and Product Managers in the implementation of medical education initiatives and logistical coordination for education´s events. The intern plays a critical role in ensuring that programs and courses are executed with excellence and in alignment with the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
The Professional Education intern will support the educational plan of the Cardiac Rhythm and EP Division for half of their time and spend the rest working across all corporate divisions, including Peripheral, Urology, Endoscopy, and Neuromodulation, developing and executing Professional Education initiatives according to BSC expectations and policies.
Educational Programs
- Follow-up on external agencies when required
- Support digital education courses related to PSST and content creation, aligned with legal and compliance
- Educare medical education platform: ALM creation for each course, registration, reporting, and content adoption follow up.
Proctorship:
- Responsible of Confirmation of Services and consolidate proctorship services.
- Follow-up on Proctorship services (done / cancelled) and invoices received
- Keep Updated Proctor data bases & IRF pre and post approval documentation
Logistics:
- Seminars (salesForce) module administration:
- Create educational activities.
- Follow-up information uploaded by FCS: candidates and final attendees
- Responsible of data base and reports
- Demos, models and POP material request and shipment.
- Logistic follow-up and attendance when required.
ROI:
- Digitalization and consolidation of attendees’ databases, including executed investment
- KPIs Monthly follow-up: Collect performance metrics and measure progress
- Monthly Summary of activities executed and impact
- Creation of Data bases of HCPs trained by therapies.
Vendors:
- Confirm and track vendor services, quotation and deliveries
- Process and follow up on invoices and payments
- Maintain and update vendor databases and documentation
- Coordinate shipments of demos, models, and promotional materials
- Monitor inventory and control processes for vendor-supplied items
Demos and Models
- Responsible of demos and models process:
- Ship demos and models requested by FCS and Marketing
- Update demos, models and POP material inventory, and establish a follow-up and control process.
- Load Purchase Orders for POP material
