Objective:
The primary function of this role is to achieve the commercial goals assigned to the territory, maintain a high level of customer service, increase market share, identify potential markets, and generate value-added proposals within the commercial environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the Sales Representative role from a comprehensive perspective, combining commercial responsibilities with clinical support.
- Analyze current and potential customers, their needs, and market trends within the assigned territory.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills regarding the commercial landscape and possess a general understanding of the medical devices industry (Boston Scientific and its competitors).
- Conduct regular, scheduled visits to existing and prospective customers to promote Boston Scientific’s products and services, aiming to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
- Manage the territory and coordinate with support functions such as Logistics, Customer Service, Legal, Compliance, Accounts Receivable, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality.
- Provide service to current clients while actively developing the assigned territory.
- Plan and develop the market for existing and new products in alignment with the company’s goals and objectives, utilizing all available tools effectively (e.g., consignment).
- Deliver ongoing technical training and support to customers.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with hospital management, purchasing departments, and clinical staff.
- Attend meetings, conferences, and trade events as needed to promote Boston Scientific's portfolio.
- Analyze market and industry data using all available support tools.
- Uphold and advocate for Boston Scientific’s values and integrity.
Experience and Education:
- University degree in Health Sciences or Business Administration.
- English proficiency at B2 level.
- 4–6 years of sales experience in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals or consumer products.
- Proven ability to develop and execute business plans.
- Demonstrated capability to acquire and communicate technical, clinical, and product knowledge effectively to healthcare professionals at all levels.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Preferred: Technical knowledge of medical devices
- Excellent communication skills.
- Positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and respect for the company’s image in front of clients.
- Solid understanding of the hospital environment.
