About the role
This role is responsible for the development & adoption of the assigned therapies in Andean Region (Colombia & Ecuador). This position will partner with product marketing in the design and execution of a therapy development plan that is in alignment with the strategic priorities of Boston Scientific and Cardiology division. This role is responsible for ensuring the assigned territory meets, portfolio strategy execution and for achieving sales objectives.
Your responsibilities will include
- Market assessment – partner with Product Marketing to gather KOL feedback, validate assumptions and support the definition of customer targeting, segmentation, and message definition. Identify and define requirements for market development programs (ie. DEMOS, product evaluations) to support the introduction of new technologies.
- Lead Market Therapy analysis for Modern PCI, especially calcium portfolio, Competitors, behavior patterns, prices, portfolio, pains, therapy tendencies, step by step techniques, clinical data, objection management
- Identify key accounts, health care professionals, and business issues that have the greatest effect on use of company products by meeting with existing and potential customers. Classify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care. Determine where our therapies can assist in providing a comprehensive healthcare solution.
- Identify key patient journey and referral networks opportunities and strategies for the Modern PCI and Calcium therapies - from referral, fellows, nurses, technician, purchaser, to Primary Care Physicians.
- Mapping national installed base of technology (Modern PCI) and identify new business opportunities through demand generation strategies on the field.
- Work together with Sales Reps / Account Executives and Field Clinical Specialists in the pre-selling stage of new opportunities: engage KOLs in pre-launch activities (i.e., advisory boards, pre-launch product evaluations, collection of specific voice of customer feedback, preparation, and delivery of sales force training activities) and support the commercial planning & execution processes.
- Advice on technology/ therapy knowledge. Knowledge and communication of the technical characteristics, clinical benefits, and value proposition of the technology during the selling cycle.
- Teamwork with internal Capital Equipment support engineers and biomedical engineering department in accounts during the pre and post selling stages. Work on console management and equipment optimization.
- Supervision together with capital equipment team for equipment installation
- Case assistance and clinical support in operating room for assurance of the correct use of technology
- 70% on the field, national /regional travel availability, 30% planning and analysis."
What We Are Looking for in You
Required qualifications:
- Professional in biomedical engineering, nursing or related careers with experience in hemodynamic rooms.
- Previous experience on the field with Biomedical Capital Equipment management in commercial or clinical roles
- Previous experience in commercial and/or demand generation (+1 years)
- English Level: Intermediate. Minimum requirement B1
- Availability for local, regional, and international travels
