About the role

We’re looking for a versatile Therapy Development Specialist for the Electrophysiology Division in the Andean Region with experience in the Electrophysiology market.

The person will work aligned with Marketing, HEMA, and Commercial and Clinical areas to create and execute strategies, tactics and campaigns that support the development of the Electrophysiology market. Having an accurate mapping of the current market to establish the base of the situation analysis is key to identifying potential gaps and exploiting new opportunities to prioritize new product launches and therapy development.

 

It is a priority to lead the patient journey, administrative route, market potential, and served market as well as value proposition and clinical messages of therapies in charge, building and delivering to different stakeholders in the healthcare system and internal teams, understanding the market and healthcare system needs to drive the therapy growth in the Andean Region market.

 

The person should be equally proficient with day-to-day clinical and market development activities and long-term therapy strategy aligned with the division product manager and strive under tight deadlines to meet the company's changing needs. The person in this role is responsible of the sales plan of the therapies in charge.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Support the Electrophysiology annual Marketing plan, including situation analysis, identifying the opportunities, strategy definition, and implementation
  • Support sales achievement, profitability, market share, and growth of therapies in charge. This role is responsible for achieving the sales annual plan for those therapies.
  • Support Market Access activities for therapies in charge including full responsibility for building patient journey, administrative routes, and referral networks, prepare and implement the communication strategy for clinical messages, and value proposition of therapies in charge.
  • Identify key accounts and healthcare professionals associated with the therapies in charge and build professional relationships with them.
  • Define educational programs for physicians, fellows, nurses and referrals with focus on product training, objection management, and clinical data.
  • Develop action plans based on sales results, identifying accounts’ needs supported by Salesforce and clinical feedback to achieve annual sales plan in therapies in charge.
  • Lead Market Therapy analysis in Electrophysiology: Competition, behavior patterns, portfolio, Healthcare institution and HCPs needs, therapy trends and techniques, clinical data, objections
  • Work closely with the Product Manager, clinical and sales team in evaluating business conditions. Identify accurate sources of information to build the market insights that support the strategy and business plans
  • Secure HCPs interaction process aligned with BSCI compliance policies

 

Knowledge

  • A seasoned, experienced professional with a complete understanding and wide application of principle, theories, and concepts in the field. Applies a full understanding of area of specialization to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways. General knowledge of other related disciplines, business unit function and cross group dependencies/relationships. This job is the fully-qualified career-oriented position.

Participates in determining goals and objectives for projects. May lead projects within the function or department and/or represents a specialized field in larger project teams. Influences middle management on business solutions.

  • Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects. Failure to obtain results or erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources.

 

Liaison

  • Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations. Uses discretion, diplomacy and tact to resolve difficult situations. May escalate serious issues to manager.

 

Mentoring

  • Participates in the development of less experienced staff by setting an example, providing guidance, and offering counsel.

 

Required qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering, biomedical engineering, medicine or marketing
  • English: B2-C1 level
  • Work experience in Atrial Fibrillation/Cardiac Mapping/Structural Heart Procedure
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in 3D mapping with field experience
  • Relationship building, teamwork, customer centricity, leadership and communication skills

 

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Professional post-graduate education: marketing post-graduate degree, MBA or master in marketing
  • Established relationship with electrophysiologists in Andean Region
