About the role:

Under the direction of the Professional Education Strategy Director, the EP Fellows Training Manager will develop a localized electrophysiology (EP) Fellows educational strategy and implement/support training programs to provide AFS & CRMDx product and therapy education for Health Care Providers (HCPs). The EP Fellows Training Manager will identify and engage HCPs through collaborative partnerships to enhance educational initiatives, to advance the appropriate application of therapies that provide life enhancing outcomes, and to advise BSC on matters of strategic importance. 

 

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Assess and analyze HCP requirements and training needs for Fellows in the local geographical market. 
  • Align organizational objectives and initiatives to those of each Fellows academic program. 
  • Assist with coordination of educational content and training through participation in local in-service presentations and hands-on skills training, conventions, forums, Boston Scientific hosted programs and 3rd party grant supported programs with a hands-on skills training component. 
  • Identify key opinion leaders (KOLs) including emerging leaders in the industry, expert speakers, and well-known academicians who can deliver the defined curriculum as well as provide technical and clinical insight with real-world applications. 
  • Develop approach, scope, and methodology of training to maximize impact by determining target audience, time, location requirements, and other applicable factors. 
  • Assist with and support in-person and virtual national EP Fellows across the AFS & CRMDx portfolio.
  • Conduct post-program evaluations of content and faculty, remain aware of all changes that may impact training requirements, and implement changes/improvements to training protocols and materials accordingly. 
  • Develop relationships with HCPs and AFS & CRMDx field personnel through scheduled meetings and other interactions. 
  • Effectively execute activities of major significance to the organization and represent Boston Scientific Professional Education as local point of contact for Fellows Education.  

 

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 2+ years field sales/clinical experience in Cardiac Rhythm Management and/or Electrophysiology.
  • Experience working with academic institutions with Fellows programs.
  • Strong understanding of electrophysiology principles, procedures and technologies.
  • Candidate must have appetite for continuous innovation and continuous learning.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with physician customers and sales teams.
  • Works independently, receiving guidance on complex and unprecedented problems.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator.
  • Ability to develop new processes and adjust practices as needed to meet business or team needs.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% and work from remote home office.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Preferred background in nursing, biomedical or related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience with supporting systematic training in a field/lab-based setting.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; detail-oriented; methodical.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite; particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to lift and transport supplies and equipment.
