About the role:
Core objective of this role is to support the Divisional Manager in achieving the goals and objectives of the Endoscopy Division.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop further as professional sales rep by acquiring working knowledge and selling techniques. Able to tackle a variety of issues, general knowledge in medical device industry (BSC and competitors).
- • Visit customers and/or potential customers of Boston Scientific on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets, as agreed with the Manager.
- • Manage existing and acquire new customers in the assigned territory under general supervision of the Manager.
- • With limited instructions of Manager, plan and develop the market for our existing and new products according with divisional goals and objectives, through execution, while optimize available tools (consignment, etc).
- • Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers directly in the Endo Suite
- • Cultivate wide range of business relationships with hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff.
- • Attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
- • Analyze and report to the Manager and/or others (monthly & year basis) the market and business feedback by using all available support tools.
- • To represent Boston Scientific values and integrity.
- • Upon request may lead a project team of moderate scope.
What we’re looking for in you:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or greater
- 2-5 years successful sales experience – healthcare, pharmaceutical, software, consumer products. Preferably a background in short sales cycle industries where direct selling to professionals is required and compensation is based upon “pay for performance”
- Demonstrated business planning development and execution
- Demonstrated ability to absorb technical, clinical & product knowledge and disseminate effectively to all levels of healthcare professionals
- Excellent product knowledge and selling skills
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrates a consistent, positive attitude towards the role, working in a team and in upholding corporate image with our customers
Preferred Qualifications:
- French-language skills
- Good understanding of hospital environment
