Account Manager, New Cardio - Bucharest, Romania
About the Role:
- We are looking for an experienced Account Manager, with 3-4 years of experience in Sales field (Cardiology or Interventional Cardiology is a plus)
- Regional experience is a plus.
- Driving sales numbers and optimize product margins.
- Execute strategies (short and long term) to increase market share, through working with the marketing team to increase patient awareness, and doing the right field activities to do so.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end sales process for specific customer segments by identifying commercial opportunities in the region.
- Territory and account ownership, build and execute an annual account plan per hospital
- Contributes to the development of annual strategic plan by providing RSM, BUM and Marketing with detailed business intelligence for accounts in scope.
- Work with Public and Private Hospitals:

- identifying new business opportunities within the region.
- Analysing market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Prioritizing accounts and identifying high-potential opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase product adoption and utilization.
- Develops the stakeholder map, defines touchpoints and action plan for each of them and ensures account information are timely updated into systems.
- Builds and maintains relationships with economic stakeholders, clinical KOL, including physicians, nurses, technicians, and administrators. promoting Health Economics arguments and engaging decision-makers to discuss commercial programs and solutions.
- Understand customer needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Monitor stocks and inventory.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's cardiology products, including their features, benefits, and clinical applications.
- Provide comprehensive product demonstrations, in-services, and training to customers on the safe and effective use of devices.
- Educate customers on the latest clinical data and best practices in cardiology
- Stay up-to-date on new product launches and advancements in the field.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including marketing, clinical support, and technical support, to ensure seamless customer experience and achieve sales goals.
- Working in conformance with the Boston Scientific corporate guidelines, processes, and procedures.
- Tender ownership, monitor procurement channels and calendars, lead bid strategy per account, coordinate pre qualification requirements, compile technical and commercial documentation
- CRM excellence in Sales Cloud, record every contact and interaction, keep account and contact hierarchies current, create and update opportunities with stages, amounts and close dates, log activities and meeting notes.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Successfully completed studies in medical science or similar relevant education.
- 3-4 years of experience as Account Manager, Product Specialist in medical companies or pharma.
- Strong customers orientate.
- Good English skills.
- Able to work in a multi-functional and multicultural environment.
- Willing to travel frequently.
- Driving license.
