Business Support Partner, SEE
Purpose Statement
The primary focus of this role is to deliver excellent service and superior customer satisfaction to the Growth Emerging Market (GEM) organization. The Business Support Partner GEM collaborates closely with the GEM Marketing team by providing complex administrative and organizational support to business units and international congresses and meetings. Acting as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders—including Sales & Marketing teams, customers, vendors, and agencies—the role operates autonomously within established policies and procedures.
The position is preferably based in any country within the GEM BSC Hub where support is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the reference contact for country Sales & Marketing teams, external customers, local healthcare professionals (HCPs), healthcare organizations (HCOs), preferred vendors, and conference organizers, providing information and guidance on policies and procedures.
- Lead the management of Internal Request Forms (IRFs) for local HCP events and activities, ensuring detailed documentation, timely communication, and collaboration with stakeholders. May support cross-country and cross-divisional IRFs.
- Coordinate logistics and organization for local events, internal training, and meetings, partnering with Sales and Marketing teams and collaborating with EMEA/Global teams as needed.
- Manage purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs), including vendor creation, payment terms, quotations, and budgeting in coordination with the Business Support Central Services Team.
- Handle invoices, payment follow-ups, and assist with Opex tracking alongside divisional FP&A.
- Provide administrative support including document creation, file updating, event logistics, contract management, catering arrangements, and communication coordination.
- Potentially serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Business Support Function, offering guidance and strategy to GEM/EMEA teams.
- Ensure compliance with all quality, regulatory, and standard operating procedures aligned with Boston Scientific’s policies.
- Support internal and external audits related to HCP interactions, events, and meetings.
- Collaborate with Business Support team members on internal meetings, events, and New Service Requests across the GEM region, per business needs.
- May travel to support local, international events, and GEM meetings within own or other countries according to company guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
