Help transform cardiac care. One procedure at a time.
Electrophysiology (EP) is one of the most dynamic areas in cardiology, and Boston Scientific is proud to be at the forefront of this evolving field. We’re shaping the future of ablation therapies by introducing innovative technologies like Pulsed Field Ablation (Farapulse), ultra-high-density 3D mapping (OPAL HDx), and advanced diagnostic and therapeutic catheters.
We’re now looking for a Clinical Sales Representative EP to join our team in Romania. This role is a unique blend of clinical support and commercial activity and therefore perfect for someone who’s passionate about patient outcomes, loves working in hospitals, and enjoys building trusted partnerships with physicians and teams.
What you'll do
You’ll become the key expert and advisor to cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and cath lab staff across your territory. Expect a hands-on role in which you are supporting procedures, delivering training, and driving therapy adoption. You’ll work closely with colleagues in sales, marketing, and technical support to strengthen our market presence and ultimately improve lives.
Your main responsibilities
- Provide clinical and technical support during EP procedures involving ablation and mapping technologies
- Build strong partnerships with physicians, nurses, and EP-lab staff and become their go-to resource
- Train hospital teams on safe and effective product use (both in procedures and through planned education sessions)
- Collaborate with Account Managers to help grow business opportunities and uncover unmet needs
- Ensure smooth logistics and coordination around case planning, inventory, and follow-up
- Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and evolving clinical practices
- Share field insights and customer feedback with internal teams to support continuous innovation
A day in your life
Every day brings something new. One day you’re supporting a Farapulse procedure in Bucharest; the next, you might be traveling to a hospital in Sofia or Belgrade to onboard a new team on our OPAL HDx system. You’ll balance clinical case support with commercial insight-gathering and product education. If you enjoy variety, love working with people, and want to see your impact firsthand, this role will suit you perfectly.
What you bring
We’re looking for someone with a strong clinical background, customer-facing confidence, and a growth mindset. You know your way around hospitals and enjoy being at the center of the action in a cath lab or operating room.
You’ll likely tick one or more of these boxes:
- 2–5 years of experience in electrophysiology, cardiology, or Cath lab environments
- OR experience in a field-based clinical support or sales role (e.g. medical devices or hospital technology)
- Biomedical engineering, nursing or life sciences degree
- Strong communication skills: you can explain complex clinical or technical matters clearly and effectively
- Ability to build trust quickly with medical teams
- Proactive and hands-on, with a structured approach to planning your work
- Willingness to travel frequently across South-East Europe and work flexible hours based on procedure schedules
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
