Senior Pricing Analyst

 

To build a Pricing Excellence culture within the organization by supporting it in complying with pricing policy and achieving pricing plan execution, by partnering with the business, assessing pricing needs, proposing, and developing pricing solutions, sharing best practices and driving price awareness across the organization.

Support the business in formulating prices which reflect our products and services value while allowing us to gain an edge over our competitors.

This role is expected to represent, support, and collaborate with other departments to drive initiatives that will lead to improved profitability and operational excellence through pricing and revenue management system enhancements.

 

Be a Pricing Partner to Growth Emerging Markets region by Partnering with divisional & regional stakeholders in:

 

Pricing Strategy:

 

• Supporting the definition of regional & divisional pricing strategies and related activities

• Work closely with Sales and Marketing to identify pricing challenges, develop commercial price concepts and guidance, and drive local implementation.

 

Reporting, Analytics and Performance execution:  

 

• Develop analytics and dashboards that support pricing execution & monitoring across countries and franchises under senior team supervision 

• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to deep dive in any identified pricing challenge and identify new pricing opportunities.

• Identify and operationalize core KPIs to monitor price performance according to marketing and commercial strategy and create standardized dashboards to be reviewed on a regular basis (deal execution, ASP erosion, premium price execution, performance vs market)  

• Analyzing and synthesize data into meaningful and insightful reports

• Drive usage of pricing analytics across the division, contributing to the education and pricing culture across the division.

 

Opportunity Identification & Customer Insights:  

 

• Leverage process and requirements within the Commercial Excellence practice to improve the collection of precious inputs from the field 

• Support on identifying emerging trends on competitor performance; reporting on specific price trends

 

Be a Pricing Subject Matter Expert (SME) by:

 

• Sharing pricing best practices across the organization and ensure solutions already present in the organization are fully leveraged

• Supporting current and future development of processes and solutions to drive real and sustained pricing performance while complying with EMEA pricing policy.

• Collaborate with cross-divisional teams to further improve pricing tools and processes, that provide management with actionable information, by gathering pricing business needs, propose, and developing processes and solutions to meet those needs 

• Training and supporting business partners and pricing team on the use of those infrastructures.

 • Being the go-to person for knowledge on this pricing subject

 

 

Deal Design & tools:

 

• Partner with local commercial and marketing organizations to maximize value generation on key deals through a data-driven approach to deal proposal design

• Develop pricing guidelines based on strategic priorities and ensure correct implementation within the tools used by the sales organization (e.g. price book, approval tools)

• Collaborate with cross-divisional teams to further improve pricing and revenue management tools to provide management with actionable information.

 

 

Role Requirements

 

  • 3+ years professional experience in Pricing, Commercial Strategy, Commercial Excellence, Financial Planning & Analysis, Marketing functions and roles within structured environments.
  • At least 2 years professional experience in Pricing, preferably in B2B environment
  • Clear & strategic thinker, strong marketing, commercial and financial acumen
  • Rigorous, strong analytical mind-set, structured and organized.
  • Proactive, self-starter and curious attitude
  • Excellent collaboration skills and team player
  • Capable to communicate complex concepts and findings in a simple and immediate manner.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry as a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or MSc featuring strong analytical component (e.g. economics, management, finance, statistics etc.)
  • Fluency (native or equivalent) in English
  • Strong knowledge of key Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Knowledge of Tableau is a plus.
  • Knowledge of pricing and revenue management systems, experience with CPQ tools highly preferred (Conga, Vendavo, SalesForce)
  • You must be open for a 1 year contract
