About the role :

The purpose of this role is to drive business growth through focused strategic and operational marketing, based on market and competitive analysis for the South East Europe region. In coordination with the local team, EMEA marketing and the franchise managers, this position is responsible for the planning and execution of marketing programs including KOL engagement, creation of an educational journey for customers, development of localized clinical messages as well as the support of the local sales force in achieving business goals. The Marketing Manager SEE implements marketing excellence standards within his/her group, partners with internal and external stakeholders and ensures a balanced and targeted spending of the regional marketing budget.

 

 

Your Responsibilities will include :

⦁    Ensure the execution on a formally built marketing plan based on divisional strategy, define KPIs and review actions to meet AOP per subregion
⦁    Manage marketing programs through implementation and communication of strategy, market intelligence, delivery of objectives and execution while effectively partnering with all stakeholders. 
⦁    Guide & track product launches while educating sales force on sales strategies. Upgrade product and procedural experience to expert level in the region. 
⦁    Identify unique local market opportunities to increase therapy and product awareness, including PR or hospital marketing partnerships.
⦁    Identify and develop the right marketing tools based on customer segmentation to empower local sales teams to address the key questions for the local market 
⦁    Drive multichannel strategy and digital transformation in the region. 
⦁    Plan, execute and monitor KOL Engagement Plan - involve franchise leads, EMEA marketing and Medical Affairs.
⦁    Identify registration priorities and facilitate communication between stakeholders regarding product registration.
⦁    Ensures the right set of specific metrics (KPIs) are in place for tracking success of local marketing efforts - determines corrective action when local product performance is not on track.
⦁    Spend, track and balance budgets while ensuring cost saving measures, understand implications on general business management in cooperation of sales division's direction

 

Marketing Competencies : 

Strategy & Planning
Develop marketing strategies and plans for the SEE region that support Boston Scientific’s growth and are based on profound market understanding. Ensure local teams and channel partners are aligned on the strategy and know how to deliver it.

 

Customer Insight
Collect and utilize customer insights to deliver best possible customer educational experience and KOL engagement plans. Ensure strong partnership and cooperation with Medical Affairs and EMEA marketing.

 

Channel Mix and Integration
Select and enable the most appropriate channel mix to engage customers in cooperation with the Digital, Multichannel and Marketing communications team. 

 

Project and Resource Management
Demonstrate the discipline of planning, prioritizing and executing projects with several stakeholders to achieve specified outcomes with a defined timeframe, standard and budget. Use KPIs to measure success.

 

Technical Knowledge & Communication
Understand market implications and use knowledge of BSC products and therapies to support local teams and channel partners with clinical & competitive messaging.

 

Business Partnership
Take a BSC-wide approach, understanding of key process and involving the right people, build effective networks with internal colleagues and channel partners while understanding the organizational dynamics.

 



What are we looking for in you?

⦁    Based or willing to relocate to Bucharest
⦁    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Healthcare or a related field
⦁    Minimum 3 years of experience in international (product) marketing and solid healthcare industry acumen (preferably in Cardiology) 
⦁    Track record of a successful product launch 
⦁    Fluency in English (written and spoken)
⦁    Flexibility to travel (min. 70%) 
⦁    Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills including developing relationships at all levels in an organization and influencing business objectives 
⦁    Analytical & project management skills
