About the role:
At Boston Scientific Argentina, we are looking to hire an Electrophysiology Mapping Specialist to join our Cardiology team during a key moment of growth and technological innovation. This field-based position focuses on providing high-level clinical and technical support during ablation procedures for the treatment of arrhythmias, using advanced 3D navigation and electroanatomical mapping technologies such as the Opal HDx™ system.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and technical support during electrophysiology procedures, including the use of 3D mapping systems, diagnostic and ablation catheters (RF, PFA), and transeptal access tools.
- Attend procedures in EP labs to ensure optimal use of Boston Scientific technologies.
- Train physicians, technicians, and healthcare staff on the clinical use of our solutions through presentations, demonstrations, and tailored training sessions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify business opportunities and support market development.
- Participate in ongoing medical education activities, including visits to key physicians, fellows, and opinion leaders.
- Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory protocols in clinical studies, including interest visits and site initiation visits.
- Stay up to date with advanced clinical knowledge in electrophysiology, ablation technologies, mapping, and navigation.
Required qualifications:
- University degree in Biomedical Engineering (mandatory).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the clinical electrophysiology field, preferably supporting procedures or working in the medical device industry.
- Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with 3D electroanatomical mapping systems.
- Willingness to travel within the country and occasionally abroad.
- Intermediate to advanced level of English (spoken and written).
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience with Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) and/or Cryoablation technologies.
- Experience in clinical studies or supporting medical research.
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, and customer-oriented mindset
