About the role:
Promotes company products through clinical education of current and potential customers, implants and patient clinic coverage within a defined region. Supports team to achieve projected sales goals and increase sales revenues. Is eligible to train and coach other regional field clinical representatives in a lead capacity.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Selling: Integrates into the patient care continuum. Collaborates with the Territory Manager on business strategy and tactics at the physician level. May demonstrate mastery of all sales tools and prorams available. May demonstrate a deep understanding of the competitions strengths and weaknesses. Able to participate in C level discussions and negotiations under the direction of the Territory Manager or Regional Business Manager. Attends and presents at industry and society meetings.
• Business Acumen: Through understanding of the reimbursement and prior authorization process. May be involved with contracts negotiations and pricing at the direction of the Territory Manager or Regional Business Manager. Makes sound judgement regarding nature of meetings, venues and expenses in accordance with T&E policy and submits appropropraite documentation for reimbursement. Stays current with all internal training and complies with departmental administrative expectations. Protects company inventory, sensitive information and patient confidentiality. Reports patient/device issues immediately as per policy. Is resourceful in solving clinician and patient inquires. Includes Territory Manager and Regional Business Manager in the decision making process as appropriate.
• People: Demonstrates leadership skills to organize and participate in regional or national trainings and meetings. Conducts oneself in a professional manner and in all interactions and maintains high standards of excellence. Integrates seamlessly with providers, clinicians, facilities and payers. Is sought out and recognized as a leader by colleagues, peers, clinicians and BSN Sr. Leadership. Manages a wide range of internal and external networks. Fosters collaboration and best practice sharing with peers at a national level. Actively listens to others with empathy and respect. Accepts feedback and seeks opportunities for personal and professional devleopment. Builds rapport with clinicians, nurses, technicians and patients to influence sales and usage of BSN products. Develops key relationships through frequent and routine customer visits, product demonstrations, product in-services and procedural observations. Displays empathy and motivation in helping patients overcome obstacles and hardships.
• Technical: Provides coverage for complex case throughout region and Area. Expert working knowledge of BSN products and applications. Responsible for monitoring and improving clinical efficiencies and outcomes for territory, region, and at a national level. Recognized resource by the field and corporate regarding input into upcoming products and software clinical needs and patient needs. Able to offer unique insights into advanced techniques. Maintains composure in complex clinical situations. Knowledgeable on clinical papers and unique BSN production applications.
Required qualifications:
- Graduated or undergraduate student in biomedical engineering, bioengineering.
- Advanced English
- 3 years of experience in similar positions
