About the Role:The Capital Equipment Intern supports the technical service operations of the organization by assisting in equipment installation, maintenance, and service processes. This role provides hands-on experience in field service activities, technical documentation, and customer support. The intern will work closely with the Capital Equipment and Service teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with company standards while contributing to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:Technical Service Support• Assist in technical service activities such as equipment installations, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance under company quality standards.
• Support troubleshooting and basic diagnostics of capital equipment under supervision.
• Ensure proper handling and care of tools, equipment, and service materials.
Documentation & Systems• Register and document all service activities in the management system accurately and timely.
• Maintain updated service records, reports, and technical documentation.
• Support compliance with internal processes and quality requirements.
Field Insights & Business Support• Identify and report potential business opportunities detected during field activities.
• Provide support to the team in customer interactions and service follow-ups.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations) when needed.
Administrative & Continuous Improvement• Assist in service planning and coordination activities.
• Support process improvement initiatives within the technical service area.
• Participate in ad hoc projects related to Capital Equipment operations
Profile:Education:• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
Experience:• Previous technical internship or academic exposure to medical devices or equipment is desirable but not mandatory.
Languages:• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (desirable).
