<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Clinical Education Department is seeking a Meeting and Events Planner to provide support of healthcare provider professional education programs by executing tasks associated with in-person and virtual events, compliance, clinical training, and healthcare provider assessment. Position viewed as a key functional resource; handling confidential and sensitive information, where extensive knowledge of business concepts, procedures and practice will be applied. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses strong work ethics, effective verbal, written and presentation skills to interact with management, field sales, customers and other external contacts. Individual exemplifies exceptional follow-up, follow-through, attention to detail and ability to work across various functional groups in a time sensitive and multiple projects environment.

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Your responsibilities include:

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Maintain spreadsheets and documentation around events
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Establish strong relationships with key internal and external customers, serving as a liaison for initiatives
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Communicates proactively to key internal and external customers, managing expectations, timelines and processes
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Maintain projects/events within identified budgets ensuring cost-saving measures and adherence to compliance guidelines
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Acquire and maintain knowledge of Meetings and Events industry trends and best-in-class practices as related to responsibilities
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Gather and prepare data in preparation of upcoming projects and identify future needs to complete projects
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Manages work in a confidential manner, ensuring information is shared with internal and external individuals in an appropriate manner
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Develop basic knowledge and understanding of the Neuromodulation business
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Opportunity to attend educational workshops on weekends to assist in event execution
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Preparation for national and local events from materials to customer experience
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Professional event planner that will work with internal BSN and Health Care Provider

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Associate’s degree
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Able to work flexible hours, potential overtime and potential up to 25% weekend travel
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to multi-task
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Contact for NLI links and codes for the NLI APP through the BSN Learning Institute
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Non-employee expense reports
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Hotel Contracts-national and local events
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Event Support and debrief
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">On-site support
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Organize RSVP-daily
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Manage air travel
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Confirm rep attendance
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Technically savvy

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Preferred Qualifications

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Contract compliance and event planning experience
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Experience in medical device or highly regulated environment
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Grants or charitable work – i.e justifying donations or writing grants
