About the Role:
Identify and lead value improvement and waste elimination projects that drive plant and company performance improvements while promoting the development and advancement of the lean culture within the plant. Support local implementation, training and support of Global Lean, BPI, and VIP Essentials.
Your Responsibilities Include:

Sustaining & New Products support to perform engineering tasks, which may include: creating and updating standards, line balance and layout design.

Introduce and advance the Lean culture, principles and practices across the plant and work with local management to create and drive the Lean vision for the plant.

Initiate and lead improvement projects (i.e. Lean, BPI, VIP) with the Production, Process Development, Manufacturing Engineering, and other support functions.

Develop and conduct Lean training programs for employees at all levels and departments.

Completes capacity analysis internally and/or at suppliers for headcount, equipment and space requirements using simulation software or other effective tools.

Create, maintain and refine a Lean toolkit that can include: 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, mistake proofing and line balancing.

Deploy and support the use of corporate Lean tools and Metrics (Core Metrics, WCG, VSP, 5S, Lean Goals and Plans, etc.).

Promote cross-functional and inter-site teamwork to accomplish shared objectives.

Leads Kaizen Events with large groups of people with the objective to increase line productivity & efficiency.

Fosters a safety & Operational Excellence culture.
Minimum Requirements:
-
Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.

English Level desired: B2+: 80-89%.

Facility layout design with Autocad.

Strong office package knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

At least 6 - 12 months of experience in similar position (equivalent combination of education and experience)
Preferred qualifications:

Desired knowledge: Project Management, Simulation and Modeling, Lean Tools, IE systems and software
