About the Role:
Responsible for directing all facility maintenance, critical systems, and plant wide facility support.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for developing the strategic direction and goals of the facilities department to ensure alignment with plant objectives.
- Responsible for monitoring the adequacy of action plans to meet identified objectives, monitoring performance towards achieving our goals.
- Responsible for directing all facility maintenance, critical systems, and plant wide facility support.
- Develop measures and reduce / eliminate facility equipment and critical system downtime.
- Directs facility equipment preventative maintenance programs.
- Assures critical systems are operating properly and meet all plant, divisional and regulatory requirements.
- Implement measures to improve equipment performance, facility operating costs, and the quality of facility operations.
- Support the Strategic Quality Process by ensuring that all quality policies and procedures are followed in accordance to internal and external regulations.
- Manage and develop maintenance and facility engineering personnel.
- Support the security of the building and grounds.
- Support all of the plant wide EHS programs.
- Responsible for driving energy and waste reduction initiatives.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets and capital expenditures.
- Implement cost reduction initiatives to achieve budget goals.
- Utilize Lean tools and concepts to eliminate waste from all facilities and plant related processes.
- Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC’s Quality policy, Quality System and the appropriate regulations for the area they support.
- Ensure all employees are trained to do their work and their training is documented.
What We’re Looking For:
- Licentiate degree Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Field Related.
- English Level desired: 90-94%
- 10+ years of experience in similar positions.
- Desired knowledge: Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing and clean room areas, AutoCad, Computerized preventive maintenance.
