ABOUT THE ROLE:

Manages the development and implementation process of company's projects involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of product transfers  or services resulting of the executed projects.

YOUR REPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Works with the corresponding functional and project managers to define project scope, strategy, timeline and budget associated.
  • Estimates project levels of effort and resource requirements by using standard estimating techniques and tools, and by working with appropriate staff to understand scope of effort.
  • Prepares project plans, schedules and budgets by using project management tools such as Microsoft Project and by working with appropriate staff to understand tasks necessary to complete project.
  • Directs project execution by assigning tasks, tracking project schedules, identifying risks, and developing and executing contingency plans.
  • Assures project quality by using standard development methodologies and by working with the corresponding Quality representatives to develop and execute project quality plans.
  • Communicates project status by preparing standard status reports, and by participating in departmental and customer project status update meetings.Resolves project issues by working with team members, project customers, and others as appropriate.
  • Monitors and controls projects deliverables, and assures projects success through monitoring activities verifying activities completion and effectiveness.

In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.

For those individuals that supervise others, the following statements are applicable:

  • Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.
  • Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

  • BS/BA Degree in related field and/or equivalent experience.  Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of project leadership or PMO experience.
  • Demonstrated project management and change management skills leading multisite cross functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience applying project management tools and methodologies
  • Proven record of keeping the organization's vision and values at the forefront of decision making.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships to gain alignment on project goals and outcomes.
  • Strong English proficiency & communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)C+1 90%
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft suites (O365, Teams, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Strong emotional intelligence and situational leadership.
  • Ability to create a sense of energy, excitement, and personal commitment to the organization by empowering others, rewarding, and celebrating superior performance.
  • Ability to create an inclusive workplace across many locations.
  • Demonstrated high degree of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to establish credibility.
  • High sense of urgency and commitment to execution.
  • Proven adaptability, comfortable with change and with a demonstrated ability to react and respond to a fast-changing environment.
  • Work effectively under minimal supervision, with the courage to make decisions, take ownership and hold oneself accountable to results and works well under strict deadlines.
  • Occasional, limited travel to other BSC sites, some international, may be required. Up to 15%, post COVID.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. compliance with FDA, BSI, EEO regulations, etc.).
