About the role:
We are excited to introduce a new opportunity for a Change management senior specialist to join Boston Scientific. This role will play a pivotal role in the establishment and growth of the recently created EMEA Change Management Team, which will be instrumental in supporting employees through change while building BSC Change capability.
The Senior Specialist will report to the EMEA Change Management Senior Manager.
The initial focus will consist of supporting the execution and success of strategic transformation programs in the region by developing and executing change management strategies to support employees throughout the changes.
Specific responsibilities will include stakeholder analysis & management, change impact analysis, change network management, communication & training plan design.
Other key aspects of the role will include the maturation of change skills across the organisation with a near term focus of introducing EMEA Change management tools and methodologies to the broader organisation. This will involve organising enterprise change workshops, developing toolkits tailored for the organisation, and facilitating a training program to elevate the capabilities of key personnel, including leaders, project managers, and HR business partners.
Responsibilities
Support business/program managers in the development and execution of the change management strategies and plans for EMEA strategic transformation programs.
- Develop, maintain, drive, and execute change management strategies in collaboration with key program stakeholders.
- Create impactful communication and training materials and use innovative vehicles and approach to share them across the organisation.
- Create innovative and impactful ways to involve, mobilise and align program stakeholders (from top management to individual contributors) through workshops and interactive sessions.
- Provide guidelines and tools to managers to run team dialogues about change and help their teams to translate change initiatives into concrete, relevant actions.
- Creates opportunities for stakeholders to guide change through participation in forums, discussions, in-person town halls, small group sessions, etc.
- Provide relevant information to employees that allows them to make their own decisions in line with desired change objectives.
- Monitor external and internal environment for potential threats to successful change implementation.
- Provide direct support and coaching to front-line managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions.
- Partner with the Communications team to stay aligned on change management plans & consistent messaging.
- Collaborate with and provide input to the Communications and HR teams with regards to content of announcement, FAQ and talk track.
- Connect local teams by sharing experiences and leverage expertise and lessons learned.
Contribute de develop change management capability across EMEA
- Facilitate change management training session to identified change practitioners.
- Coach, advise, guide a network of change practitioners.
- Co-manage the EMEA change management community of practice with other change experts.
- Share change management best practice and tools with the change management community of practice.
Key Skills / Capabilities
- Excellent Communication – strong attention to detail, creative writing, presentations
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite of tools (e.g. PPT and SharePoint)
- Growth Mindset - comfortable with ambiguity
- Fast paced environment
- Fluent in English
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of three to five years of related work experience in change management, communications, or related field
- Successful track record delivering high quality creative communications to all levels of organization using multiple vehicles
- Experience working on a global project transformation implementing Change Management and Communications tactics
- Experience working globally and comfort with cultural diversity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) certification and/or PROSCI Certification
- Five years+ of related work experience with change tools such stakeholder’s analysis, change impact mapping, persona creation, change measures, and the value of their outputs
- Five years+ creating enterprise wide and executive level creative communications using multiple vehicles/approaches
