About the role:

 

As an Interventional Solutions Clinical Specialist, you will provide clinical expertise, customer education and procedural support to physicians and catheterization laboratory teams across Boston Scientific's Interventional Solutions portfolio. In this field-based position, you will partner with customers and internal teams to support clinical adoption, deliver exceptional procedural support and help improve patient outcomes through innovative coronary therapies.

 

This role requires strong clinical aptitude, technical proficiency and the ability to build trusted customer relationships. You will develop expertise across Boston Scientific's coronary product portfolio while supporting territory objectives through clinical excellence, customer education and outstanding service.

 

Within Interventional Solutions, we design, develop and manufacture technologies that diagnose and treat coronary artery disease and other cardiovascular conditions, including acute myocardial infarction. Our portfolio includes drug-eluting stents, drug-coated balloons, bare-metal stents, catheters, balloons, guidewires, coronary atherectomy systems and coronary intravascular ultrasound (IVUS). Supported by a robust portfolio and innovation pipeline, we continue to invest in advancing interventional therapies that improve outcomes for patients around the world.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

• Support execution of regional clinical, sales and service strategies to improve customer experience and drive product adoption.

• Serve as a clinical resource by providing case coverage, product support, basic troubleshooting and customer education within assigned accounts.

• Provide procedural support during coronary interventions and assist physicians with the clinical application and use of Interventional Solutions products.

• Educate physicians, nurses and catheterization laboratory staff on the safe and effective use of company products through presentations, in-services and hands-on procedural support.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, catheterization laboratory personnel and key stakeholders within assigned accounts.

• Support product launches and specialty technologies through customer education, training and procedural support.

• Respond to customer questions and product-related concerns by collaborating with internal partners to deliver timely and effective solutions.

• Manage consignment inventory activities, including inventory tracking, audits, product returns and expired product management.

• Ensure timely completion of required procedural documentation and clinical reporting.

• Maintain compliance with all company policies, quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain residence within the assigned geographic territory and travel as required to support customer needs.

 

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in medical device sales, healthcare, a clinical setting or a related field.

• Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required.

 

Preferred qualifications:

 

• Experience supporting interventional cardiology procedures in a catheterization laboratory or hybrid operating room.

• Experience in a clinical or customer-facing role within the medical device industry.

• Familiarity with intravascular imaging, coronary atherectomy and coronary interventional technologies.

• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to explain complex clinical and product information.

• Strong communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.

The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be $65,000-$85,000, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
