About the role:
A Therapy Awareness Manager (TAM) is responsible for accelerating the growth of key products through the development and execution of demand generating initiatives focused on prospective and targeted HCP audiences. This position is responsible for supporting the Therapy Awareness team in driving therapy development and adoption of Interventional Oncology (IO) therapies, with some individual aligned regional responsibility. The TAM will support the team’s therapy awareness plans in alignment with the strategic priorities of the Boston Scientific IO division. This candidate is responsible for supporting Senior Therapy Awareness Consultants and will work closely with Therapy Consultants (sales representatives) and Regional Sales Managers to execute marketing tactics to enhance referral patterns and increase the number of patients with access to with BSC IO therapies. The Interventional Oncology Therapy Awareness Manager will be a hybrid role involving virtual support of national sales teams and therapy awareness teams combined with in-person therapy awareness execution in assigned geographies. The position requires someone with a strong clinical aptitude that can work in a team environment to analyze data to generate business insights, create target lists, develop and execute outreach plans of calls and email to engage physicians and provide education, identify key referral networks, and determine where access to therapies can assist in providing a comprehensive healthcare solution.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate Therapy Awareness Consultants along with Therapy Consultants (sales representatives) and Regional Manager(s) to identify and engage with institutional multidisciplinary (MDT) teams and health care professionals to enhance referring physician and patient awareness of specific disease states and available treatment options. Provide timely updates to team members on ongoing business activities, competitive conditions, industry trends.
- Leverage data insights to understand patient referral pathways and map referral networks, using tools such as Power BI and Tableau. Responsible for providing reports and synthesizing analysis into digestible, actionable territory assessment for all field sales reps.
- Support planning and implementation of targeted outreach, awareness, and advocacy initiatives aimed at MDT teams and referring physicians to increase awareness and support for BSC IO therapies, which may include completing calls and emails to targeted referring physicians.
- Support TAMs planning specific activities such as regular customer visits, product demonstrations, educational programs, and participation in trade shows by providing ad hoc analysis of claims and business data, preparing materials, and providing in-person support as needed
- Gain a thorough understanding of clinical data supporting BSC IO therapies and effectively communicate this information to treating and referring physicians, with support from the medical science and therapy consultant teams
- Support and conduct education meetings, delivering relevant marketing materials to multidisciplinary specialties such as medical oncology, surgical oncology, interventional radiology, hepatology, gastroenterology, and surgery
- Identify and address local limitations on patient access to trained physicians offering BSC IO therapies. Ensure patients can access trained physicians through outreach to network affiliates and community oncology.
- Obtain input and provide feedback to internal Marketing on requirements and improvement opportunities from external customers to improve patient access to care and support the collaboration of multidisciplinary teams.
- Manage field travel to maximize time and resources aligned with individual and overall marketing objectives.
Required qualifications:
- BA or BS degree required
- 2+ years related internships, clinical and/or B2B sales experience
- Strong learning agility with an ability to learn, understand and communicate complex technical/medical terminology and to maintain the required technical expertise including competitive product knowledge
- Build/create immediate rapport and maintain strong relationships
- Experience with sales and marketing databases is preferred
- Proficient technical aptitude with computer technology and devices (e.g., Microsoft Office, CRM/Salesforce.com experience, iPad, Microsoft 365 apps, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excels in fast-paced, competitive environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and work effectively on various assignments
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving
- Detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven
- Must be energetic, enthusiastic, determined and goal-oriented
- Disciplined self-starter with the ability to work from home and flexibility for field work as required
- Up to 25% travel required

- Healthcare, Pharma, Biotech, Medical Device experience preferred
- Experience using Copilot or ChatGPT to augment daily work is preferred
