Job Purpose:
This role is to provide Financial support to Clonmel Manufacturing, Process Development and R&D Teams. You will be required to review actual results versus month forecasts and yearly budgets and work cross functionally with different areas of the company. You will also be involved in aspects of the monthly accounting close, as well in the continuous improvement cycle within the function and site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build cross functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partner functions, and collaborate with sub functions within Finance.
- Preparation of relevant monthly forecast reports for manufacturing variances and monitor financial performance
- Understand the analysis of numbers and be able to relate back to root cause
- Support monthly financial close activities of our Clonmel entities
- Follow the internal control book procedures, financial policy compliance and support SOX and audit compliance
- Be part of the continuous improvement culture within the Finance function
Education & Experience:
- Level 8 Honors Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or other relevant field.
- Qualified Accountant with 2+ years PQE
- Strong Financial reporting experience and analytical skills including forecasting, annual budgets and product costing.
- ERP System experience would be an advantage (S4Hana is the in-house system)
- Data analytics skills are not a prerequisite but would be an advantage (PowerBI, Qlik, Alteryx, etc), or an interest to be trained in this area
- Actively seeks opportunities to streamline processes, enhance reporting accuracy, and improve efficiency across finance operations
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently, taking ownership of tasks and driving them to completion
