Job Title: Graduate Electronic Engineer

 

** 23 Month Contract **

 

About the role:


The candidate will contribute their electronic engineering skill set and expertise to all stages of the medical device development and sustaining engineering activities across a number of projects. The engineer will be required to develop technological solutions and lead all activities relating to the electronic development.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to electronics designs from concept to production
  • Work on electrical medical equipment for new product development projects as well as sustaining engineering and value improvement projects.
  • Analyze and assesses technical reports and other information to make recommendations for electronic components and design approaches
  • In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Provide Technical support, as required, to technology and product development teams
  • Must be a self-starter, manage own time and prioritize tasks based on business priorities.

 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s  Honours Degree (Level 8) or Masters (Level 9) in Electronic, Computer engineering or equivalent

 

Requirements/Experience for Graduate Programme:

  • BSC degree in relevant electronic, electrical, computer science engineering discipline essential with a minimum of 2.1 QCA
  • Relevant work experience/ co-op programme completed.
  • Strong system skills and aptitude
  • Good communication skills, teamwork abilities and initiative.
  • Proven ability to work well as part of a team & on own with minimum supervision.
  • Enthusiastic self-starter
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Eligible to work in Ireland

 

Experience Requirements:

  • Strong communications and time management abilities
  • Technical knowledge of electronic design including analogue and digital electronics
  • Experience in electronic simulation (LT Spice or similar)
  • Experience in schematic capture, and PCB layout using Altium, Eagle or similar.
  • Lab skills and experience with debugging, prototyping, general test equipment setup for electronic designs.
