Join our team as a Principal Process Engineer and lead the charge in developing groundbreaking technologies at Boston Scientific, Clonmel. Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Lead pioneering engineering projects within major programs.
  • Shape the strategic impact of alternative technologies in alignment with the Site Long Range Plan.
  • Serve as a recognized subject-matter expert, guiding site-wide technology planning.
  • Drive significant operational performance improvements through advanced problem-solving and major CIP implementations.
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to foster teamwork and staff development.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of how manufacturing impacts product performance from the customer’s perspective.
  • Evaluate new equipment, processes, and chemicals in collaboration with EHS to mitigate environmental impacts.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

 

  • Hons bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with outstanding communication skills and the ability to form strong cross-functional relationships effectively.
  • Experience in influencing, coordinating, and driving Design for Excellence (DFE) initiatives.
  • Participation in cross-functional project teams to develop clear specifications, influence project direction, and evaluate concept feasibility.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to defining project requirements.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of Project Management Systems, principles, and activities.
