We are seeking a (Insert job title) on a permanent OR defined term (X months) basis to join our team.
Purpose: 
Join our dynamic team as a Snr Test Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in revolutionizing our testing processes. You'll be at the forefront of developing, modifying, and controlling functional and in-circuit test equipment during pre-production and production phases. Your expertise will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You'll collaborate with Design, Operation, Quality, and Process Development teams to integrate cutting-edge test processes for new products into our manufacturing area.

Responsibilities:
•    Lead the development, modification, and control of functional and in-circuit test equipment during pre-production and production phases.
•    Design test fixtures for pacemakers, implantable cardiac defibrillators, and various other medical devices.
•    Write test software, tools, and specifications to test medical products and designs.
•    Create test specifications, technical guides, validation protocols, and reports to complete the overall equipment and software validation of the test system.
•    Work on sustaining updates to existing test hardware/software to improve first/final pass yield or support new product variants.
•    Understand and apply test software principles, theories, concepts, practices, and techniques. Develop your expertise to become a recognized leader in test engineering.
•    Analyze and solve software problems, from basic engineering principles to complex and advanced issues, requiring innovative approaches or breakthroughs in technology.
•    Incorporate business policies and procedures into task completion. Understand the company's business needs and customer requirements and stay ahead of emerging technology trends.
•    Cultivate internal and external networks to complete tasks. Serve as a resource for selecting, orienting, and training new engineers and employees. Lead project teams, set goals, and mentor colleagues by sharing technical expertise and providing feedback and guidance.
•    Interact with internal and external customers, serving as a consultant for engineering or scientific interpretations and advice on significant matters. Act as a spokesperson to customers on the business unit's current and future capabilities.

Qualifications/Experience Required:
•    Hons BSc degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
•    Minimum of 6 years' experience in a regulated electronic industry in a test engineering/programming role, with expertise in both hardware and software.
•    Knowledge of LabVIEW, C/C++ programming, PCB design experience in OrCAD or Altium.
