Scientific is seeking a highly motivated Project Lead (Manufacturing Integration & Transfer) on a permanent basis to join our team.
Job Purpose:
You will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of manufacturing integration and transfer projects from other sites, ensuring seamless transition of processes, equipment, and knowledge to the Clonmel facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimates project levels of effort and resource requirements by using standard estimating techniques and tools, and by working with appropriate staff to understand scope of effort.
- Prepares, develops and manages detailed project plans for transfer, schedules, and milestones specific to manufacturing integration budgets by using project management tools such as Microsoft Project and by working with appropriate staff to understand tasks necessary to complete project.
- Identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks associated with the transfer and integration of manufacturing processes.
- Resolves project issues by working with team members, project customers, and others as appropriate.
- Acts as a main point of contact between sending and receiving sites, facilitating regular communication and issue resolution.
- Oversees validation, qualification, and verification activities for transferred equipment and processes working with Engineering Lead
- Assures project quality by using standard development methodologies and by working with Quality Lead to develop and execute project quality plans.
- Engages with engineering, quality, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure all aspects of the transfer are addressed.
- Communicates project status by preparing standard status reports, and by participating in departmental and customer project status update meetings.
- Consults with internal project groups by sharing project management knowledge and assisting or mentoring more junior project leaders in project management processes and techniques.
- Captures lessons learned and implements best practices for future transfer projects.
Education & Experience:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Hons degree in related field.
- 4-5 years of relevant experience.
- Project management experience managing project scope, schedule and budget, and ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Strong cross-functional communication, team building, planning and problem-solving skills.
- Candidate must be comfortable communicating and/or presenting in front of all levels of the organization.
- Results-oriented, positive attitude focused on delivering timely, accurate and best in class execution.
Desirable Skill
- Proficiency in MS Project/Office Timeline or other relevant tools
Quality System Requirements
In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
- Ensures transferred processes meet all quality and regulatory requirements before full-scale production.
