Quality Systems Technician II


Provide technical assistance to internal customers to lead and support containment activities on site in order to implement controls to prevent the unintended movement of product. Assist engineers in the establishment and maintenance of effective quality system structures to ensure consistent implementation of quality systems at Boston Scientific Clonmel.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an expert resource to support the containment function on site in order to prevent the unintended movement of product or components. May on occasion be required to provide support to other sites in this area of responsibility also.
  • Assists internal customers by collecting, reviewing and analyzing manufacturing or quality system data for containment related activities.
  • Familiar with internal requirements and external regulations and standards and incorporate into requirements for use in Boston Scientific business processes.
  • Identify areas of potential noncompliance or quality system improvements by supporting the Internal Audit function.
  • On going review and improvement of applicable Quality System procedures.
  • Educate functional areas on containment and quality system requirements.
  • Participate cross functionally and across business units to standardize Boston Scientific Quality System policies and procedures.



  • Level 6 technical qualification within a relevant field.
  • 2+ years’ of experience working within a quality role
  • Medical Devices experience is desirable
  • Ability to apply a scientific approach to problem solving
