About the Role:
The Senior HR Manager role provides business partnership, advanced coaching and strategic consultation to client groups to support them achieving their goals and to create a high performing organisation. The role provides HR leadership directly and adds value through a team of HR professionals who deliver a broad range of HR support and services to the business.

 

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Provides HR leadership in a broad range of areas, including but not limited to many of the following: organizational design and development, talent acquisition, talent development, succession planning, employee engagement, employee welfare and wellbeing, employment law, compensation and benefits, employee relations and performance management, change management and continuous improvement, leadership development and coaching, internal and external communications and community relations.
  • Coaches and consult with people managers on a broad range of issues including employee engagement, performance development, problem resolution and legislative compliance.  
  • Sponsors, leads and influences projects and change management initiatives with client group leaders to enable higher performance and build the overall leadership capability of the organization.
  • Is an employee advocate - keeps employees appropriately informed and engaged on the issues that impact them and builds a workplace community where all employees feel more connected and informed.
  • Provide guidance and direction to client group(s) to ensure consistent, equal and fair treatment of all employees and is a champion of Diversity and Inclusion in the business.
  • Conducts a continuing study of all Human Resources policies, programs, and practices and keeps the business informed of new developments.
  • Works with HR CoEs to ensure a seamless and superior provision of HR services to the business.  
  • Collaborates across multiple sites within the Boston Scientific network on projects and the evolution of the HR service delivery model.
  • Oversees and manages the work of reporting staff and supports the ongoing professional development of the Human Resources team.
  • Managers and monitors the annual budget of Human Resources services.
  • Provides data and metrics that inform the business of current state and trends. Uses data to drive strategic goals in the business. 
  • Manages HR Information Systems and is responsible for the maintenance of HR records and the accuracy of HR information published both internally and externally, particularly as it pertains to HR Policy and compensation and benefits.

 

Experience and Qualifications

  • BSc Hons Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred.
  • 10 years HR experience required and has previously provided leadership across a broad range of HR services such as employee relations, talent development and business consultation. 
  • The role requires strong project management skills and excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.
