We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer on a permanent basis to join our team.

Job Purpose:

Lead cross-functional process development for complex technologies on new products, ensuring efficient and effective transfer to production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess process capabilities and prioritise improvement opportunities.
• Innovate, design, and implement process enhancements, procedures, tooling, and automation.
• Deliver functional outputs for PDP/TDP, project management, and quality systems.
• Plan and conduct technical reviews.
• Ensure documentation meets quality system requirements.
• Write and review validation protocols and reports for new processes.
• Oversee development builds and establish qualified production lines.
• Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input.
• Contribute to intellectual property submissions.
• Train and direct technicians, engineers, and manufacturing personnel as required.
• Participate as a core or extended team member on new product projects.

Quality System Requirements

• Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by adhering to the Quality Policy and all documented processes.

Job Scope and Level Guidelines

• Functional Knowledge: In-depth technical and practical expertise in own function; general understanding of related functions.
• Business Expertise: Understand key business drivers and integration with related teams.
• Leadership: Set an example, coach, and provide guidance; may lead small projects.
• Problem Solving: Address a range of problems using established solutions and judgement; propose alternatives as needed.
• Impact: Influence quality and effectiveness within own and related teams; contribute to organisational objectives.
• Communication: Exchange complex information, guide and persuade others, and participate in cross-functional discussions.

Education & Experience:

• Hons bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant Engineering / Science field.
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and meet targets/goals efficiently.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated decision making skills.
