      Due to growth in our Clonmel site we have a fantastic career opportunity for a permanent Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team. Inhouse or agency consulting experience essential for this role. Hybrid model available. 


About the Role:
Works closely with HR and business leaders to understand the recruiting needs of the organisation; anticipate hiring needs and proactively identify recruiting solutions to meet those needs.  Develops, initiates and executes sourcing and recruiting strategies and other Staffing related processes.  Manages multiple clients and competing demands to attract qualified candidates and fill open positions while positioning the organization as an “Employer of Choice”. 

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Find, attract, and engage candidates through a wide range of sourcing techniques to build diverse talent pipelines of ready now candidates.
  • Innovate and drive diversity sourcing strategies using various tools to help decision makers.
  • Strategising different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events, and sourcing campaigns.  
  • Coach Hiring Managers and coordinate selection process to ensure optimal selection of candidates for available positions.
  • Develop and implement organizational recruiting strategies to attract the best qualified candidates. 
  • Conduct interviews by evaluating employment factors such as job experience, education, training, skills, knowledge, abilities and other data relevant to the selection process. 
  • Prepare, extend an negotiate competitive job offers. 
  • Utilize recruiting processes to leverage and enhance resume tracking software. Engage resources to maximize the strategic role of the Staffing function and eliminates non-value-added work.  Focus on continuous improvement and makes suggestions to improve the staffing process, policies and strategy.  Contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards.
  • Keep Hiring Managers updated as appropriate while effectively interacting with all levels of employees, answering questions and providing information.
  • Troubleshoot problems that arise in connection with the recruiting and hiring process.
  • Coordinate and manage staffing project requirements with supervisors and managers.
  • Ensure the organization complies with local laws and regulations as it relates to sourcing, recruiting and hiring. 
  • Partnering closely with cross-functional teams on regional and global Talent Acquisition projects.


Experience and Qualifications

  • BSc Hons Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • 5 years’ sourcing experience ideally within a Recruitment Consultant Agency or Inhouse Talent Acquisition/ recruiting team.
  • Proven ability to apply sourcing techniques is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to collaborate cross functionally.
