Key Responsibilities
- Bring energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following:
- Coordinate with leadership to lead highly visible and complex process improvement projects.
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, influencing and guiding stakeholders through change management and continuous improvement processes.
- Champion Lean principles and 5S workplace organisation across teams to enhance safety, quality and productivity.
- Apply continuous improvement tools and methodologies/RCA/DMAIC process to improve or solve manufacturing problems and reduce waste.
- Facilitate process mapping workshops and identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimisation.
- Demonstrate digital curiosity by identifying and incorporating digital tools, automation, and analytics platforms into operational excellence projects to drive smarter, faster, and more scalable solutions.
- Deliver training sessions and provide coaching on Lean tools, DMAIC methodology, and operational excellence practices.
- Provide coaching and mentoring of employees at all levels in the use of Lean Six Sigma tools and systems.
- Track and report on key Operational Excellence performance indicators to measure the impact of improvement efforts and ensure project goals are met.
- Influence senior management by providing data analysis support.
Quality System Requirements
- In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
Job Scope and Leveling Guidelines
Knowledge
- Degree level 8 qualified in a STEM discipline or other disciplines with relevant experience.
- Proven experience and expertise in Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies within an operational environment.
- Experience in Change Management and/or Project Management a distinct advantage.
- Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes cGMP, industry regulations, process development and new product introduction.
- Working knowledge of 5S principles and practical application in operational environments an advantage.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent.
Problem Solving
- Strong analytical skills and systematic problem-solving skills with the ability to present complex data to all levels of leadership.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, Power BI) and process improvement techniques.
- Demonstrated digital curiosity and ability to explore, evaluate, and apply digital solutions (e.g., automation, data visualisation, workflow tools) to enhance operational performance.
Planning, Organisation and Business Relationships
- Self-confident with the ability to promote a new way of thinking.
- Demonstrates a “go and see” bias.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and organisational skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.
- Positive Team player.

- Provides guidance to less experienced staff.
