We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a team of engineers in achieving key area indicators such as yield management, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and cost improvement projects. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in people management and a proven track record of developing and implementing team development plans. Experience in the medical device industry is desirable.
You're Responsibilities include:
- Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Develop and implement development plans to enhance team members' skills and career progression.
- KPI Management
- Drive the team to meet or exceed key performance indicators, including yield improvement, CAPA closure rates, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and lead initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with R&D, Quality, Production, Regulatory, Equipment Engineering, Supply Chain, and Marketing to ensure project success.
- Technical Expertise
- Apply statistical analysis and problem-solving techniques to address complex manufacturing challenges.
- Lead cost improvement projects and root cause analysis efforts.
- Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to manufacturing processes and improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering or related.
- English Level desired: 85% minimun
- Experience: 5 years minimum
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, problem-solving, and process improvement methodologies.
- Experience with CAPA processes and cost improvement projects.
- Language Skills
- Proficient in English (desired level: 85% proficiency).
- Leadership Skills
- Proven ability to lead and develop engineering teams.
- Experience in creating and executing development plans for team members.
- Additional Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
