About the Role:

 

A Lead Global Catalog Manager is responsible for overseeing the management, organization, and optimization of product data to ensure accurate, consistent, and high-quality information is available across all digital platforms. This role is crucial in enhancing customer experience, improving searchability, and driving conversions through effective data management and merchandising strategies. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in e-commerce, data management, and digital merchandising, who is also skilled at collaboration and driving strategy to optimize product performance. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Product Data Management: 

  • Lead the collection, validation, and maintenance of product data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all digital touchpoints. 

  • Oversee the creation and updating of product descriptions, attributes, and categorization. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that product data aligns with overall business objectives and marketing strategies. 

  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies that enhance product data visibility, definitions, categorization and governance. 

  • Team Leadership: 

  • Mentor a team of data merchandisers, providing guidance, training, and support. 

  • Ensure team adherence to best practices in data management and merchandising. 

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and data enablement, to streamline processes and improve efficiency. 

  • Quality Assurance: 

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure product data is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards. 

  • Conduct regular audits of product data and make necessary adjustments to improve data quality and customer experience. 

  • Technology and Tools: 

  • Oversee the use of product information management (PIM) systems, content management systems (CMS), and other relevant tools. 

  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and tools in data management and digital merchandising to enhance team capabilities. 

  • Reporting and Analysis: 

  • Generate reports on product performance, data quality, and merchandising effectiveness. 

  • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring that all product data is accurate, complete, and consistent.

  • Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving issues related to product data and merchandising strategies. 

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. 

 

 

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, data management, or a related field. 

  • Extensive experience in product data management, digital merchandising, or e-commerce. 

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams. 

  • Proficient in using PIM systems, CMS, and data analytics tools. 

  • Advance English Level
