Senior Product Owner

Successful candidates will be responsible for defining user stories, prioritizing backlog aligned to business strategy and requirements articulating product vision, also lead backlog refinements and release cycles to enable the value our clients want to create.

  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and detailed user stories.
  • Collaborate with business owners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Preparation, hosting, and ownership of backlog refinements.
  • Responsible to prioritize and accept user stories.
  • Excellent leadership and communications skills required.
  • Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Build the strategy and vision for our software product/platforms through your knowledge of digital technologies and understanding of customer needs. Present your ideas with supporting data to align the technical team, leadership, and stakeholders to the same compelling vision for customer success.
  • With a constant focus to develop a roadmap to build and improve BSC platforms that unlocks value. Your job will be to understand the goals and needs of users and work with stakeholders to envision ways to make platforms better.
  • As Product Owner, you’re in a leadership role that requires you to influence through the quality of your vision rather than org-chart authority. You have to manage expectations across a broad set of stakeholders and you’re responsible for setting the priorities for the team. Through constant communication with stakeholders, technology teams, and internal customers, you’ll use feedback and data to determine the most important projects and tasks to focus on.
  • Data-driven decision making, and analysis is a key responsibility. You will set goals for product outcomes and metrics, closely track your solutions to ensure they are achieving the expected results and adjust priorities when they aren’t.
  • You’re expected to not only be able to look ahead to what’s next internally but be able to look ahead in industry to determine what we should be considering or implementing to better serve the success of our customers. Your role isn’t to be in the weeds with the team to determine how we will build something; your role is to drive strategic vision.
    Technical Requirements
     
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years Agile product owner experience.
  • Experience participating in planning and product release cycles and feature definition.
  • Experience providing product direction for web applications
  • Experience with demos, vision, roadmap, value stream, and project ROI.
  • Experience with prioritizing features, demos, enablers, and value streams.
  • Experience translating business requirements into user stories for development.
  • English level Desired 80+
     

Bonus Skills
 

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner.
  • Experience with Agile management tools like JIRA
  • Strong technical aptitude and hands-on experience working with technical teams.
