About the role:

Works cross-functionally to lead process development of complex technologies on new products and ensures efficient and effective transfer of new product into production.

 

You're Responsibilities include:

  • Design control systems for medical device processing applications.
  • Program PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems for medical device processing applications.
  • Work with Rockwell, GE, Siemens, or similar PLC and SCADA systems.
  • Program device interfaces using communication protocols such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, Profibus, Profinet, and Ethernet/IP.
  • Design and implement control systems networks.
  • Develop functional specifications based on P&IDs and design documentation.
  • Write technical reports to document system performance and findings.
  • Conduct software simulations, bench testing, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
  • Perform on-site integration and commissioning of control systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues within operational control systems.
  • Work independently or collaboratively within a project team.
  • Provide consulting expertise for customers.
  • Interface with clients to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Willingness to travel to remote sites for on-site support and implementation
  • Assesses process capabilities, prioritizes process improvement opportunities, and innovates and implements process improvements on platform or derivative projects.
  • Applies technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop processes, procedures, tooling and/or automation.
  • Executes the functional deliverables associated with the PDP/TDP, Project Management, and Quality Systems.
  • Clear understanding of equipment flow chart, process flow document, critical process parameters, and equipment controls.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve difficult equipment and operational problems.
  • Ensures proper documentation is completed to meet quality systems requirements. (e.g., BOM’s, Routers, FMEA’s, etc.)
  • Develops qualified production lines.
  • Additional Duties:
  • Writes and reviews validation protocols and reports applicable to new processes.
  • Plans, organizes, and conducts all aspects of technical reviews.
  • Provides Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input to the engineering print package.
  • Contributes ideas to or generates Intellectual Property submissions.
  • Trains and/or provides work direction to technicians and engineers and may train manufacturing personnel when required as part of a validation.
  • May serve as a core team member or extended team member on new product projects.

 

 

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in: Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Electronic Engineering
  • English Level desired:C1, B2

 

Experience:

  • Control systems in industrial environments
  • Logic development using PLCs
  • Industrial HMI and SCADA systems development and programming
  • Experience with AC and DC drives
  • Experience designing and implementing distributed control systems
  • Experience with data acquisition and real-time control systems
  • Equipment selection and procurement
  • Bench testing and site commissioning
  • Ability to work both unsupervised and in a team environment
  • Willingness to perform site work
  • Collaboration with electrical and power groups for integrated designs
  • Adherence to BSC’s safety culture and quality assurance systems
  • Proficiency in control theory and applications
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C/C++, Python, or similar
  • Experience in real-time systems
  • Experience with low-level device programming
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with various technical groups
  • Ability to work autonomously or with limited supervision
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills—both written and spoken
