Purpose

The purpose of the role is to plan and implement marketing tactics to support the business objectives of the LAAC Franchise within Boston Scientific. LAAC (left atrial appendage closure) is a minimally- invasive therapy for AF patients being at a high risk of stroke and bleeding.  The intern will work with a high-performing, fast-paced team: Our mission is to deliver innovative solutions that transform the lives of patients and enable them to live longer, happier and more fulfilling lives.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage website updates and cooperate with digital teams and agencies to develop a tailored customers experience
  • Plan and execute marketing activities (digital, internal updates, newsletters, key messages) to support the franchises in cooperation with the Marketing Communication team
  • Prepare reports, analysis and budget trackers
  • Communicate to the countries available material and monitor promotional material usage and stocks;
  • Ensure that external marketing communications meet internal customers' needs, legal and regulatory guidelines; Manage the internal approval process for promotional materials
  • Support the planning and execution of major congresses: Contribute to the development of a high quality and consistent image of Boston Scientific at International and national events, aligned to corporate guidelines;
  • Cooperate with Supply& Demand team to ensure sufficient product supply
  • Support product managers in developing and delivering internal training (e.g. Brainsharks)
  • Quality: Ensure awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific; Responsible for facilitating and championing the quality requirements and the messaging of compliance to internal and external customers for all events and campaigns.

 

Profile Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in sciences, Marketing or equivalent required
  • Fluency in English
  • First working experience preferably gained in a Marketing role in the Healthcare field
  • Being proactive and a strong communicator and team player
  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities
  • Analytical skills; proven ability to develop tracking tools and assessments

 

This Intern can work hybrid from home or at our office in Germany or Switzerland, expected startdate will be October 2021 for at least 6-12 months.
