About the role

 

The UroPH EMEA Commercial Excellence Specialist role should be covered by a person with high skills on change management. The challenge is to make sure that an organization with 200 members (approximately) does use properly and with the expected frequency the business intelligence platform and its business reports.

Today, at BSC we have a good number of valuable business intelligence (BI) reports that do cover very different areas of our business responsibilities (pricing, stock optimization, Loanerkits usage, sales productivity, sales coverage, account segmentation, account/franchise potentials, customer survey feedbacks…). In a first round, we identified no less than 20 Tableau/SalesCloud reports that our Sales/Marketing middle management should be regularly using in order to take decisions/actions and also in order to be knowledgeable with objective data on potential areas for improvement.

However, we have a gap between the creation of these reports and the implementation and adoption. This position UroPH EMEA Commercial Excellence Specialist will cover this gap by: i) promoting the existing reports, ii) provide coaching/training, iii) being the 1st support when something is not working, iv) capture the need of our Sales/Mkt organization for new reports…

This position will play a strategical role that needs to think and focus on the medium/long term and help to bring to the next level our organization in terms of Data-to-Action. The role is complementary with:

 

  • Sr. Sales Operations Analyst position, which is more an operational role based in the needs of the business opportunities that are currently open.

 

  • Data Analytics and Reporting Analyst position, supports the division with the design, development and maintenance of reports reaching the business strategies and objectives.

 

 

Your main areas of responsibility are

 

  • Identify the most important existing Business Intelligence reports per role [FIRA, Sales Performance, Customer Interaction Report, Asset Usage, Opportunity Pipeline…]
  • Ensure that all Sales/Mkt organization members adopts and make good regular use of the reports he/she are supposed to be using.
  • Define and create clear/intuitive content guidelines for Sales/Mkt stakeholders on “How to properly use and Business report in Tableau ” [FAQs website / Small-Videos / Pdf / Playbooks].
  • Define how/when each Tableau report is meant to be used [QBRs, PDCs, 1to1 Meetings...]
  • Coaching/training/Troubleshooting and all sort of Business Analytics Reports
  • With the support of the Data Analytics and Reporting Analyst, he/she will need to ensure data consistency across all the reports and databases [e.g. Account/Franchise Potentials]
  • Capture the need and specificities for the development of new reports and coordinate with the Data Analytics and Reporting Analyst  to make sure that these reports do become a reality
  • Coordinate the activities related to the creation of a centralized and intuitive software platform (within SalesCloud) that helps users to easily find and use all the existing reports
  • Make sure all different roles and stakeholders and subscribed to the appropriated reports
  • Proactively analyze reports created by other divisions, geographies (mainly USA) and define implementation plans if need it
  • Monitor the usage of each different report by role and propose improvements in case low usage and low value contribution is
  • First level technical & functional support. Become the first level support for all the members of the division. This included technical troubleshooting (technical problems of the platform) and functional lack of knowledge from the user. If problem cannot be solved, contact the second level support (Data Analytics & Reporting Analyst).
  • Try to find other relevant sources of information (outside BSC) and trigger together with other stakeholders and only if required the process to incorporate this information into our decision processes. The information could be one-time case or a structural integration.
  • Enable feedback channels. Set up feedback channels to capture new ideas that will improve the Business Intelligence platform. These tasks include actions as: be active in the SFDC chatter, create internal surveys, setup a network of ambassadors within the division, organize regular calls and f2f meetings to capture ideas.
  • Interact with daily sales business. In order to have a good understating of the business processes and priorate the needs, in a regular basis (once per month approximately), the candidate will need to be on the road with different SalesReps. That will provide a good visibility and understanding of the limitations and challenges the Business Intelligence report implementation faces.
  • Knowledge and external training. Maintain industry relevant knowledge around product and industry trends

 

Who are we looking for

  • Technical Bachelor degree (Computer Science, Engineering…) or Business Degree.
  • English and a second major European language.
  • 2-3 years of experience project and/or change management project.
  • 2-3 years of experience in working for multinational companies.
  • Be able to lead projects with deliverables, deadlines, and key milestones.
  • Be able to lead technical discussions with stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Effectively present ideas and product scope to internal audiences.
  • Ability to work well with people including project stakeholders and project team members
  • Travel requirements (in average twice per month 2/3 days within Europe).
  • Open to work remotely.
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated understanding of how to interpret Sales/Mkt business needs and translate them into requirements.
  • Self-motivated with great initiative attitude.
  • Person with meticulous and detailed working skills.
  • Common sense, pragmatic and hard worker.
