Key responsibilities
• PTP Operation:
- Drive the smooth process including monitoring the status of pending expense reports, resolving queries and follow up issues in a timely manner
- Identify unusual items and discrepancies, investigate for solutions
- Build relationships with local key points of contact. Communicate with stakeholders including end users, local finance and compliance etc. on problem solving independently
- Perform/review month end closing tasks and other daily reporting task such as Concur expense data uploading, TE related JE adjustment, monthly expense accrual etc. Verify all incoming expense reports and ensure alignment with company policy and standard process accordingly
- Properly identify potential issues and escalate to line manager- Support external & internal operation report and audit
- Support projects relevant to PTP process
- Perform/review standard process documentation maintenance
- Perform/review SLA reports and T&M report
- Other assignments and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by manager
• Analysis: To prepare any type of analytical report as needed, including TE data analysis to contribute to process improvements.
• Controls: Ensures all activities are completed timely and accurately, with compliance with relevant Acts, legal demands, ethical standards and the internal Quality Management System.
• Relationship Management: Set up smooth communication with internal and external stakeholders including operation, finance dept, suppliers etc.
Requirements
• University Degree in accountancy or equivalent
• >5 years’ experience in business with specialization in finance and operations within a multinational environment
• Strong knowledge on PTP E2E process
• Workable English& Japanese
• Experience within a progressive global shared services operating model
• Experience in leading project/leading team is plus
• Familiar with ERP PTP system, SAP/Cadency/Concur/Ariba/VIM/Mflow system knowledge is a plus
• Strong relationship building skills including cross-cultural
• Strong analytical skills
• Must be a quick learner and able to engage well with internal and external customers • Good team player and willing to take on additional responsibilities
