Role:
The primary role of the Sales Representative in Boston is to maintain and increase market share at BSC accounts by delivering excellent product in-servicing, product evaluations, and continuous procedural education.
Promote our Endoscopy products with outstanding commercial skills, negotiation ability and entrepreneurial spirit.
Providing education to current & potential customers and implant within a defined region by providing clinical education, sales strategies, and support for complex issues to assist in achieving projected sales goals and increasing sales revenues within assigned product lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the growth of sales and the deployment of promotional actions with our clients (Kols, hospital’s personnel, administrative decision-makers…) within public and private institutions.
- Serve as expert for clinical support consisting of tackling complex issues relating to troubleshooting, programming, and patient follow-up for company products.
- Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using appropriate formats and platforms (e.g., slides, manuals) to keep all customers abreast of the latest product, therapy, and technology developments and current items of interest in the industry.
- Perform clinical and library research and participate in case reviews and clinical observation by working with physicians and hospital lab staff.
- Attend operation rooms of hospital accounts and perform patient follow-up to assure customer and patient success with the implanted products.
- Meet with existing and potential clients to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate how company products can help them to achieve their goals.
- Maintain business relationships with hospital personnel (e.g., through casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences) to make new contacts in other departments within hospital and to identify key decision makers in order to facilitate future sales.
- Respond to all customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing optimal creative and feasible solutions.
- Lead specialized project teams & provide technical leadership to Business Unit Heads. Participate in the development of other team members by facilitating training and providing feedback and guidance (role model, best practice sharing, …).
- Providing initial and continuous training, education and support for clinical center personnel on clinical trial protocol, clinical process, products and features under investigation, and procedures involving those products and features.
Requirements:
Knowledge
- An experienced professional with wide-ranging experience and expertise in sales specialized in the medical device industry
- French & English Speaker- Wallonia region
- Applies comprehensive knowledge of a particular field to resolve complex issues in creative ways.
- Full knowledge of other related disciplines. Uses in-depth knowledge of business unit functions and cross group dependencies/relationships. Is recognized as an expert in the work group.

- Develops solutions to diverse business problems of high complexity which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. Analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
