As a(n) Account Manager for Boston Scientific, you will be able to:

 

  • Develop the region by achieving or exceeding sales targets on an ongoing basis
  • Demonstrate ability to adhere to the divisional selling process to ensure maximum client interface.
  • Develop in depth knowledge of core products and periphery items.
  • Analyze and interpret regional selling patterns in terms of product utilization and competitor activity. 
  • Differentiate product capabilities with competitor products and anticipates competitor sales tactics
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and their impact on the region.
  • Effectively implement and maintain customer records, account profiles and territory plans
  • Integrate the buying and utilization patters of the customer into selling strategy.
  • Build effective relationships with the customer and secure quality time with decision makers
  • Identify and recommend promotion opportunities within the region
  • Conduct product evaluations that lead to customer conversions
  • Reach ‘win/win’ agreements with customers and help to define negotiation parameters for tough economically constrained customer situations.
  • Target and develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders within the region
  • Align key clinical and economic buying influences within the account
  • Assist customers to develop educational courses and forums (product related).
     

YOUR SKILLS PROFILE

 

  1. You have successfully completed a degree in biomedical engineering or a comparable course of study or have completed commercial or clinical training
  2. You have at least 3-5 years of professional experience in the sale of consulting-intensive products, ideally in medical technology
  3. Languages: Mandatory Dutch & English/ Good understanding of French
  4. You are characterized by an open, positive personality who enjoys selling high-quality, clinical products
  5. You have already been able to demonstrate a strong sales orientation with great flexibility as well as a clear, sales-oriented, success-oriented negotiation and closing strength
  6. You are characterized by contact strength and reliability
  7. Self-motivation and entrepreneurial thinking are a matter of course for you
  8. You have good MS Office user skills as well as good written and spoken English skills
  9. You are a resident of the sales area
