Field Clinical Specialist Graduate – Belgium (Wallonia– Charleroi, Namur)

 

 

The Job Role:

 

The Electrophysiology Field Clinical Graduate Specialist Graduate will provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians, Lab Staff, and sales representatives on the effective and safe use of the Farapulse system during case procedures within an assigned geography, and in a manner that leads to meeting and exceeding business goals.

 

This role is a 12 month contract, starting as soon as possible. The location is Wallonia with a focus on the southern side of Belgium, ideally located around the axes of Brussels – Charleroi – Namur.
Successful candidates may be retained by Boston Scientific in the Electrophysiology or another division at the end of the contract. 

 

You will be working daily in the cathlab or operating room supporting highly innovative Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices from the Boston Scientific portfolio by engaging with clinical stakeholders to promote and train them on our products. You will work in a close relationship with the Account Manager, to effectively develop and implement the sales strategy for the territory and ensure that sales objectives are met in a precise and competent manner.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

 

•    Serves as a primary resource for clinical support in the areas of case coverage, basic troubleshooting, system/software development.
•    Educates customers and internal Boston Scientific employees on the merits and proper clinical usage of the Farapulse device by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (e.g., slides, transparencies, manuals) to keep all abreast of the latest product and technology developments.
•    Attends cases in labs of hospital accounts for case support and development efforts of the Farapulse system and its components.
•    Providing initial and continuous, as needed, training and feedback for development team and sales representatives (as appropriate) on Farapulse, development process, products and features, and procedures involving those products and features.
•    Meets with existing and potential clients (e.g., physicians, physician office groups at hospitals) by traveling (in an automobile or airplane) to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate how company products can help them to achieve their goals.
•    Develops relationships with hospital personnel (e.g. through casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences) to make new contacts in other departments within hospital and to identify key decision makers in order to facilitate future sales.
•    Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions

 

Skills and competencies required
 
•    Be a recent Bachelor or Master graduate (2023/2024) with a Biotechnical, Biomedical Engineering, Scientific Degree or Nursing qualification covering elements of the Heart/Cardiology

•    Strong technical insights, able to analyze and comprehend complex algorithms and translate this into clinical practice.

•    Able to work in a dynamic environment and stressful situations

•    French native, English fluent
•    Be computer/technically savvy.
•    Hold a current driving license.
