About the role:
As a member of the EMEA HEMA team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission and learn from more experienced colleagues.
General Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the HEMA specialist in Belgium, the intern will assist the team in supporting the BSC objectives and strategy in Belgium. Key initiatives will include:
• Supporting BSC teams in driving funding and access to Boston Scientific's portfolio in Belgium.
• Learning the dynamics/challenges in the healthcare environment in Belgium and how these influence strategy and tactical rollouts.
• Supporting the delivery of HEMA economic programs to help influence current and future reimbursement strategy.
• Contributing to and developing HEMA tools and materials to support submissions, including business cases, literature reviews, and epidemiological data research.
• Contributing to the local adaptation of health economic and value tools (i.e., value dossier, economic models, reimbursement submissions, etc.), leveraging clinical and economic data of key BSC technologies.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including the commercial and marketing teams, for the successful dissemination and execution of tools to ensure funding, reimbursement, and timely market access.
What we're looking for in a candidate:
• A student looking for an internship to gain experience
• No experience is required, but a positive attitude and high motivation are essential.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree from a university in health economics, business, economics, law, public administration, pharmacy, natural sciences, engineering, or medicine is a must.
• Fluent English (B2/C1).
• Strong analytical skills.
• Structured, accountable, proactive, driven, and engaged.
• Eagerness to learn and develop.
• Strong team spirit - contribute to an environment of mutual trust, respect, and collaboration within the team and with business partners, showing professionalism when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
