About the Role

 

At Boston Scientific, the Peripheral Interventions (PI) division is dedicated to delivering minimally invasive therapies for peripheral artery disease, venous disease, and interventional oncology. In EMEA, our team of 300+ employees includes sales, marketing, and clinical specialists supported by Finance, HR, Health Economics & Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Education.

We are now looking for a National Sales Manager to lead the Peripheral Interventions franchise in Belgium, with a focus on the Flanders region. This role is instrumental in building and inspiring a high-performing team to advance patient care and expand our market footprint

 

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of commercial strategies for the Peripheral Interventions franchise in Belgium.
  • Ensure achievement of sales targets and market share growth across Belgium territory.
  • Manage P&L responsibilities including expense control, sales forecasting and market evolution assessment.
  • Manage a team of sales representatives and collaborate closely with clinical specialists, and marketing professionals in the region.
  • Implement efficient sales and marketing models tailored to the Belgian healthcare environment.
  • Conduct market opportunity assessments and customer segmentation to support strategic planning.
  • Collaborate closely with the EMEA and regional cluster teams to align on execution plans and tactical priorities.
  • Foster strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), hospitals, and healthcare providers with direct responsibility for some key accounts in the country.
  • Maintain compliance with local regulatory and reimbursement guidelines.
  • Lead talent development, coaching and performance management of your team.

 

Profile We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required; an MBA is a plus.
  • Proven sales and marketing track record, preferably in the medical device or life sciences industry.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
  • Fluency in Dutch (Flemish), French, and English is mandatory.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive engagement and deliver results in a complex, competitive market.
  • Experience liaising with government agencies and healthcare stakeholders is highly valued.
  • High level of business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Willingness to travel within Belgium and occasionally abroad.
