Purpose

The core objective of this role is to support the Sales Manager in achieving the goals and objectives of Neuromodulation. To aid the achievement of customer satisfaction and business growth through focused business planning. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Develops the region by achieving or exceeding sales targets on an ongoing basis
  • Demonstrates ability to adhere to the divisional selling process to ensure maximum client interface.
  • Develops in depth knowledge of core products and periphery items.
  • Analyses and interprets regional selling patterns in terms of product utilization and competitor activity. 
  • Differentiates product capabilities with competitor products and anticipates competitor sales tactics
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends and their impact on the region.
  • Effectively implements and maintains customer records, account profiles and territory plans
  • Integrates the buying and utilization patters of the customer into selling strategy.
  • Builds effective relationships with the customer and secures quality time with decision makers
  • Identifies and recommends promotion opportunities within the region
  • Conducts product evaluations that lead to customer conversions
  • Reaches ‘win/win’ agreements with customers and helps to define negotiation parameters for tough economically constrained customer situations.
  • Targets and develops relationships with Key Opinion Leaders within the region
  • Aligns key clinical and economic buying influences within the account
  • Assists customers to develop educational courses and forums (product related).

 

Candidate requirements

  • Relevant university degree or equivalent background
  • Several years experience and proven track record in sales, ideally in the sales of medical devices or pharmaceuticals
  • Strategic and innovative mindset, effective working style, willingness to change
  • Excellent communication skills, persuasive power and presentation capabilities
