Process Eng - M4 (Sr. Process Engineer)
Strategic manager of product franchise(s) or core technologies. Devotes a significant portion of time to managerial, leadership, and employee development of a complex or large department or staff.
Responsibilities
- Provides guidance and training to staff, assists subordinates in attaining career goals, motivates individuals to achieve results, and recruits and maintains a high quality staff.
- Executes and manages Process Development goals and strategies.
- Manages execution of the functional deliverables associated with the TDP/PDP, Project Management, and Quality Systems.
- Establishes and drives Integrated Business Plan (IBP) deliverables and champions technical excellence for product development.
- Determines appropriate staff levels, schedules and resources. Works with other managers to understand priorities and plans resources and time allocation accordingly.
- Ensures compliance to quality system requirements.
- Champions succession planning by hiring and developing future PD top performers and leaders that can take on key technical and management positions within the organization.
- Participates in and influences TDP and PDP project development activities.
- Champions efforts on developing or recognizing, executing and managing key engineering tools and best-demonstrated practices throughout the PD organization.
- Initiates cross-functional partnerships to identify and resolve technical and systems issues.
- Develops departmental objectives and metrics and drives execution of them.
- Partners with R&D and Operations to develop and execute budgets.
