Project Mgmt, Non-Tech - P2 (Project Specialist II -HR)
The Project Specialist II – HR role will manage and/or support site-level HR projects or strategies. This role will work cross functionally to execute and roll out site and enterprise-wide projects and initiatives. This role will work with all levels of the organization. Manages infrastructure projects to ensure the highest level of performance and availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Participates in the planning, execution and finalization of projects according to strict deadlines, within budget and by following organized and repeatable procedures.
- Acquires resources and coordinates the efforts of team members and third party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
- Acts as a liaison with project stakeholders and effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path items while ensuring project quality and utilizing and following appropriate methodologies (e.g. GSM).
- Conducts project post mortems and communicates lessons learned in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Required, Master’s Degree preferred
- 2-3 years of related work experience in similar industry or organizational context with general understanding of HR processes and principles
- Experience leading or supporting HR projects or related initiatives in Employee Engagement, Communications, DE & I, Talent Development, etc.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve desired outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams and stakeholders, influencing without direct authority
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- High level of creativity and innovation in defining solutions and addressing challenges proactively.
- Ability to measure/analyze metrics and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Experience with change management principles and frameworks
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, as well as project tracking tools
- Bilingual in both English and Spanish a plus, with demonstrated ability to write and edit content and presentations for various audiences and platforms
